Senior Management Accountant
Leicester / Hybrid Working (1 day a week office based).
£55,000 - £65,000
SF Recruitment are working with an exceptional business in Leicester who are looking for a senior Management Accountant to join on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual to join a rapidly expanding business & put their stamp on the role. The Senior Management Accountant reports directly into the Managing Director & will support a transactional team. The role offers genuine flexibility & hybrid working.
Duties of the Senior Management Accountant:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Produce monthly reports for the board
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce and submit all statutory reporting to HMRC
- Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
- Supervising a small team of accounting technicians, including monitoring their performance and overseeing their development
- Developing and managing financial systems/policies
- Negotiating and obtaining finance for major projects
- Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
The ideal Management Accountant
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience
- Confidence in liaising with Senior Management Team
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
- Sound business knowledge
- Accuracy and an eye for detail
