SalaryOpportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a City-based company who are part of a large global business with ambitious growth plans.
Responsibility will be for the production of managment accounts, reforecasts and budgets, overseeing the work of an off shore team, presenting financial results and business partnering with key stakeholders.
The office environment has a real team feel and supportive culture. This role would suit someone who has a progressive attitude and who is a self starter.
Salary: £50-£60K
Hybrid working : 2 days office based
Location: The City of London
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Responsible for production of accurate and timely management accounts and reforecasts.
- Preparation of annual budgets inline with Group policy and deadlines.
- Preparation of monthly board reports incl. commentary and variance analysis.
- Monthly presentation of Management Accounts to MD’s and FC.
- Preparation of gross margin reconciliations.
- Key balance sheet reconciliation, including prepayments and accruals.
- Review of purchase ledgers coding and postings.
- Preparation of inter company recharges.
- Review of other journals and bank postings by offshore services provider.
- Review of commissions calculations provided by offshore service provider.
- Act as a key business partner to the wider business.
- Provision of information and participation in annual statutory audit.
Essential skills/experience:
- Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- 3-5 years' PQE
- Proven technical ability
- Excel skills: VLOOK UP, pivot tables and sum ifs
Desirable
Experience from the recruitment/staffing sector and /OR with an off shore team.
