Form of workRobert Half Cambridge have partnered with a business in their search for a Management Accountant to join their Finance Department in Waterbeach, Cambridge.
This role will provide support to the Finance Director in the creation and presentation of the monthly management accounts and analyse financial data, by collecting, monitoring and creating reports and financial models to enable effective decision making.
This role is paying a salary of £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience and offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
Responsibilities:
- Complete month end tasks/ journals to create the monthly management accounts
- Prepare the monthly and quarterly Supplemental Clarity reports
- Complete the monthly VAT returns
- Prepare the quarterly Inventory provision and obsolescence analysis
- Provide monthly accurate balance sheet reconciliations, including prepayments and Accruals, fixed assets and inter-company reconciliations.
Skills and qualifications:
- Experience in a finance department of a global company.
- Recently qualified/ studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player and relationship building skills.
