Management Accountant

Central Employment is proud to announce its partnership with a new client that aims to revolutionise industry practices. The client is actively seeking a Management Accountant to join their Team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial information to support business profitability and expansion.
• Provide accurate and insightful management reporting to facilitate key decision-making processes.
• Prepare month-end and year-end journals with precision and efficiency.
• Generate Management Accounts to aid in strategic planning and execution.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee capital expenditure management to optimize resources.
• Produce comprehensive financial statements, including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis, and insightful commentaries.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Guide and motivate the wider team to achieve excellence in financial operations.
• Take ownership of customs bonded warehouse compliance with HMRC regulations.
• Review accounting processes and practices, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency.

Skills & Knowledge Specification:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a related finance role.
• Proficiency in Excel and computer skills, committed to meeting deadlines with accurate information.
• Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience with Xero accounting software.
