Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial information to support business profitability and expansion.
- Provide accurate and insightful management reporting to facilitate key decision-making processes.
- Prepare month-end and year-end journals with precision and efficiency.
- Generate Management Accounts to aid in strategic planning and execution.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee capital expenditure management to optimize resources.
- Produce comprehensive financial statements, including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis, and insightful commentaries.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Guide and motivate the wider team to achieve excellence in financial operations.
- Take ownership of customs bonded warehouse compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Review accounting processes and practices, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency.
Skills & Knowledge Specification:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a related finance role.
- Proficiency in Excel and computer skills, committed to meeting deadlines with accurate information.
- Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Familiarity with accounting software systems.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience with Xero accounting software.
