Position Overview: Management Accountant
Job Responsibilities: As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the outsourcing team. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly accounts for commercial, charity, and housing association clients.
- Providing detailed commentary to clients
- Oversight of less senior staff members responsible for data inputting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Managing accruals, prepayments, and depreciation processes.
- Reviewing control accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Engaging in junior staff development through mentoring and guidance.
Qualifications and Experience:.
- Professional qualification (ACCA/ AAT) preferred
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally in a practice environment.
- Strong knowledge of accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to clients.
