Opus People solutions are currently seeking a friendly and energetic individual to join our sister company as a Management Accountant in the Facilities Management industry. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of our company, ensuring the accurate recording and reporting of financial information.
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing recommendations to improve profitability. You will work closely with various departments to review and analyse financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of financial systems and policies.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyse financial data and prepare financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and perform variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide financial support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum [2-3] years of relevant experience in financial accounting or management accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
