Great opportunity to join a renowned company as a Management Accountant. You will work closely with the finance team to provide support in two key Finance projects. Reviewing management accounts schedules to reflect current organisational structure and assisting the Management Accountant in preparation for the year end and during the audit.
Key Responsibilities Management Accountant:
- Design and implement revised management accounts schedule in Excel to reflect recent departmental restructure.
- Work closely with system accountant to make changes in BI360 reports.
- Test the reports ensuring they are accurate and efficient.
- Based on the new coding, prepare Budget 2024 upload ensuring correct codes are included for the new budget lines.
- Support Finance Manager in preparation for the year end by assisting with balance sheet reconciliation and year end schedules.
- Support Finance team by aiding as required on day-to-day basis.
Key Requirements:
- Criminal records self-declaration form required.
- A qualified accountant or qualified by experience with experience of supporting fundraising teams.
- Good knowledge of public fundraising.
- Experience of designing and implementing management accounts.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- A good knowledge of Finance systems and reporting tools (ideally GreatPlains and BI360).
- Able to carry out balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience with preparing yearend schedules.
