Our client is a successful and growing c. £300 million turnover business. You will be based from the head office in Lincoln and will be working as part of the management accounting team of c. 13.

Description

You will be reporting into the Group Management Accountant and will be working alongside a number of Management Accountants. You will be responsible for preparing the accounts for one of the trading areas, which includes the preparation of budgets and forecast and expenditure analysis and reporting. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Preparing and presenting the four weekly management accounts
• Collaborating with the key stakeholders to align financial goals with operational strategies and objectives
• Analysing trading results and monitoring against budgets and forecasts
• Completing financial reviews and providing support for investment proposals
• Providing an evaluation of the financial viability of new initiatives or expansions
• Creating the budgets and forecasts
• Continuously reviewing and improving processes
• Assisting with year end audit

Profile

To apply for this position you must:

• have a proven track record of working in management accounts
• will be studying CIMA or ACCA or be qualified by experience
• have excellent communication skills
