Management Accountant

Our national client based in Uxbridge has a great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant.
The main purpose of the role is to provide a high level of financial support to the business unit including preparation of management accounts, budgets, and cash forecasts.
The Management Accountant will support the Senior Finance Manager in all day-to-day reporting and also interact regularly with members of the Group Finance Team including the Group Financial Controller to answer queries and provide information.
What you will be doing:
- Preparing management accounts and all P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, including analysing variances to budget
- Reconcile TB accounts
- Prepare and submit monthly Flash results to Division
- Prepare weekly cash forecast
- Review and manage HFM and Orbit interface
- Manage purchase invoicing and payment runs
- Raise and manage all sales invoices including cross checking to contracts where applicable
- Review VAT returns prepared
- Process, arrange and manage all intercompany recharges and transactions
- Prepare monthly salary analysis and payroll journals
- Prepare half year and year end HFM packs
- Provide detailed support on audit queries, taking responsibility for routine items
- Provide detailed support on budget preparation
- Support commercial team with any queries
Requirements:

The candidate should be adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities and be able to cope well with working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be able to meet regular reporting deadlines balanced with reacting to ad hoc requests simultaneously.

- The candidate should be able to take responsibility for their own work and be proactive at all times.
- Attention to detail is critical, along with a strong ethical desire to do the right thing.
- The candidate should be able to deal with confidential information sensitively and appropriately.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required as this role will require interaction with Group Finance and the BU
