Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Location: London
Hybrid: 3 days in office and 2 WFH (fully office based for the first month for onboarding)
JGA are partnered with an exciting luxury tour operator, seeking a Management Accountant to handle financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis. Ideal candidates will have a strong financial management background, preferably with travel industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily financial tasks including payment processing, client money receipts, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly KPI reports, quarterly VAT returns, management accounts, and year-end accounts for auditing
- Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts
- Conduct cost analysis and recommend savings opportunities
- Manage foreign exchange transactions
- Oversee payroll process handled by a third party
- Prepare and submit reports to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA)
- Monitor and manage cash flow
- Assist in external audits and ensure compliance
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
Qualifications:
- ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualifications (Part Qualified or Full)
- Minimum 3 years of management accounting experience, preferably in travel or hospitality
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy
