As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting monthly management accounts for three companies within the group, as well as financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and other accounting tasks. You will also support the Finance Director and Project Accountants with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and sustainability reporting.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

• AAT qualification or part CIMA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-company environment
• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, principles, and practices
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, etc.)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Interest in environmental and sustainability issues

This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role, located near Needham Market, Ipswich. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility. You will enjoy a competitive salary, a generous pension scheme, 25 days of annual leave, and other benefits.
