Excellent opportunity for an AAT Qualified CIMA/ACCA Studier to join a rapidly expanding, pioneering Property/Construction business based in Liverpool city centre. As one of the fastest growing businesses in Merseyside, tripling in size over the last 3 years, our client is on track to be £80m t/o by the end of this year. Joining a friendly and collaborative finance team, your remit will include:
* Full, "top to bottom" accounting responsibility for 2 business subsidiaries from transactional level to year end budget setting
* Monthly Management Accounts preparation
* Variance analysis
* Financial analysis and KPI reporting
* Business partnering with senior management and budget holders
* Ensuring regulatory compliance
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Intercompany recharges/reconciliations
* VAT returns
Applicants will ideally be AAT Qualified and working towards CIMA or ACCA although the FC considers relevant experience more important so would look at experienced Management Accountants who aren't studying or applicants who may be lapsed studiers looking to resume. You will have excellent people skills, with a proven ability of being able to build good relationships with finance and non-finance staff to board level. Property/construction (or similar) sector experience would be advantageous, as is SAGE 50 experience, but this is not essential. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business in a broad Management Accountant role offering the opportunity to develop and take on further responsibility. A salary of £40-45k (depending on experience/qualification level) is complimented with benefits including study support, 25 days holiday, 3% Pension, A very impressive modern office environment, hybrid working (4 days office: 1 day home days in the office) and flexitime around core hours of 10am - 4pm.
