Management Accountant – UK Leisure Group (FTC)

Role:                     Management Accountant (4 months FTC)

Location:               Central London

Salary:                   £45,000 to £50,000

I’m looking for a Management Accountant for a four-month fixed-term contract for a great leisure business in the UK.
They have 13 sites spread over the UK and have been on the market for over 15 years.

The role is reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller and will be responsible for all the site's monthly management accounts and the full journals and balance sheet reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of period-end management accounts, including prepayments, accruals and posting journals.
• Analysis and commentary of the consolidated profit and loss, balance sheet and account reconciliations
• Monthly pension submissions and responsibility of P11Ds.
• Producing various weekly and monthly reports, with variance analysis and follow-up.
• Ownership of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
• Assisting with year-end audit.
• Assisting with budget and forecast processes.

The successful candidate:

• Be part-qualified in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience in multi-site leisure or hospitality is preferred.
• Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability of working under pressure.
• Efficient in producing and analysing financial reports.
