Form of workRM Recruit are working with an established Worcestershire based organisation, who are seeking to hire a Management Accountant on a 18 month Fixed - Term contract. This role will see you support the Finance function in ensuring the effective running of the monthly management accounting process. You will also be responsible for the development and mentoring of the assistant Management Accountant.
Main duties include, but not be limited to:
- Maintaining monthly management schedules such as fixed asset register.
- Ensure that the Financial Regulations are understood and being complied with throughout the organisation overall.
- Prepare variance reports and commentary to head of finance ahead of monthly board meetings.
- Supporting budget holders with costings.
- Developing and monitoring key KPI’s
- Provision of year end audit information.
- Perform other duties as may be required from time to time.
- To work with due regard to confidentiality and the principles of Data Protection whilst encouraging others to do the same.
The ideal candidate will be ACCA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent and possess experience working in complex company environments. You will be a confident communicator who can forge relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate past experience of producing management accounts and be able to efficiently work to tight deadlines.
Our client can offer a flexible, hybrid working environment with 2 days required in the office and 3 days from home.
