About us
As our Management Accountant, you will be reporting into our Divisional Financial Controller and your main focus will be to produce accurate & timely financial information, such as monthly management accounts, forecasts and reconciliations, relating to Wilmington Healthcare.
Your day-to-day responsibilities in this role include, but aren't limited to;
- Producing allocated management accounts by day 5.
- Producing monthly re-forecasts and annual budgets of Wilmington Healthcare.
- Producing Month-end Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Preparing & explaining any key variances in the monthly accounts, forecasts and budgets in comparison to the latest forecast and budget, and of prior years, when preparing the reports for key stakeholders.
- Producing Key Performance Indicators for Wilmington Healthcare .
- Building relationships with MD’s and department heads so that there is a solid understanding of the Businesses.
- Uploading Actuals and Budgets into the relevant Ledgers in Business Central.
- Contributing towards system improvements for our Month End Process, Budgets and Forecasts.
- Working as a team to ensure the timetable is met and the regular reports are distributed to the relevant management.
- Ensuring our processes & procedures align with Group policy and facilitate auditable reporting.

Essential experience for this role;
- Significant experience in a similar role with a strong accounting skillset.
- Partly qualified and actively studying (e.g. ACCA, CIMA).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to use pivot tables and V-Lookup.
- Ability to work with others to achieve team goals.
- Experience working to deadlines with the ability to prioritise workload accordingly.
- High level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Acquisitions and disposals experience.
