SalaryThis position is for a Management Accountant who will significantly contribute to the smooth running of Finance processes and month–end . The successful candidate will support the team, providing crucial financial insights to aid decision making.

Our client is an established company on the outskirts of Eastbourne. This large organisation is offering a study support package along with hybrid working.
Description
As the Management Accountant, you will:
- Assist in preparation of management accounts (income statement & balance sheet).
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Inter–company reconciliations.
- Sales and purchases analysis.
- Analysing various financial data and reporting.
- Review staff expenses.
- Liaising with and preparing audit evidence for statutory audit.
- Preparation of VAT returns for UK and Ireland.
- Completion and submission of monthly and annual surveys.
- Provide cover for other finance team colleagues, including both sales and purchase ledger functions.
- Provide front–line financial support to international entities and Group Financial Controller.
- Ad–hoc tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Previous working management accounts experience, including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Studying a qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Proficient in various accounting software.
- Very competent user of Excel
- Excellent communication.
- Attention to detail.
- High level of numeracy.
