Hays are working exclusively with a not for profit organisation in Telford who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team in Telford
Your new role
This is a great role working in an established team and duties will include:
- Prepare and distribute weekly KPI showing financial performance
- Monthly Management Accounts
- Ad hoc analysis and report preparation- for example to identify to cost saving opportunities or trend analysis
- Lead on finance productivity improvement projects:
- ii) Accounts Payable (AP) Order automation - ii) AP invoices to go to paperless
- Improve and develop existing processes and reporting
- Month end journals
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Purchase Ledger support as needed; .
- Preparation of Financial reports
- Production of statutory accounts year end requirements for auditors
- Support and cover for Financial Controller as necessary
- Any other ad hoc duties as requested.
What you\'ll need to succeed
Qualified or part qualified accountant (or equivalent), Excellent knowledge of Excel ,
Experience of process improvement would be an advantage but not essential,
Able to work collaboratively with colleagues across different functions
