Our London based regional commodities operations team are highly skilled in providing operational expertise and control to our growing Commodity Markets and Finance Division. You will work closely with the trading and sales teams and have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of Physical Commodity transactions which span Agricultural, Base Metals and Oil products.

What role will you play?
Your role, as a senior member of the team, will be two-fold, you will enjoy being hands on across validation of trade bookings, drafting of trade confirmations, monitoring electronic matching portals, facilitating cash and physical asset settlements and reconciling cash balances, you will also enjoy being part of our leadership team and manage workflow and people.
Client service delivery will form a critical part of your role, while acting as a key contact for internal stakeholders and external clients. You’ll utilise problem solving skills and collaborate with local and global colleagues to facilitate smooth daily operational processes and to identify and deliver process improvements which optimise workflow by increasing efficiency, enhancing controls and improving the quality of our services.
What you offer
- You will have experience in an operations role, ideally experience of Commodity Markets and Finance
- Leadership experience, this could be formal team management or informal leadership/mentorship
- Keen eye for detail, risk management and opportunities for improvement
