Our Growth Sales team, within the Inside Sales team holds a strategic position driving committed new business into the organization. We are looking for a hardworking manager to help lead this team and oversee their individual, career, and growth interests while aligning to the goals of New Relic. You will define and align sales goals, strategy, and tactics to our go-to-market initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with the technical account management team for cross-functional support.
You’ll have a deep understanding of all areas of the sales cycle and help bring in New Business into the organization. As a people manager you’ll be a strong coach, have the ability to put the team first, solve problems and work well under pressure.

Lead and manage a team of Growth Sales representatives to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Develop sales strategies and tactics to increase sales, conversion and improve customer engagement.
- Analyze sales performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement initiatives that drive continued sales growth.
- Help close new business opportunities.
- Coach and develop team members, delivering ongoing training and development programs to improve sales skills and overall performance.
Maintain a deep understanding of industry and market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- 5+ years closing sales experience within the observability or complex cloud SAAS sector
- 3+ years experience managing a sales team within the observability or complex cloud SAAS sector
- Excellent problem solving, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Deep understanding of Salesforce.com
- Ability to train, coach and mentor sales representatives
- Bachelor of Arts or Science, or relative degree of study
- Selling to DevOps teams
- Having a technical background
