The role will involve work across multiple departments within, including the Project Management Office, Personal Finance and Economic Crime in order to support multiple discrete pieces of work.
- Providing input to the secretariat for the AI Policy Committee, including taking ownership of specific work streams.
- Support engagement on Digital Identity, working alongside associated policy projects supporting the development of policy on the Future of
- Providing support on the thinking, policy and advocacy surrounding the development of open finance in the banking and finance industry to deliver
- Developing high quality policy papers and briefings on innovation policy and strategic issues.
- Providing analysis and critique of digital, payments and innovation policy issues assisting senior colleagues to build consensus with members.
- Accurately recording views and actions from meetings, executing at pace.
- Support the maintenance of relationships with members, stakeholders and other industry bodies.
- Project management, including working with associate members to deliver specific outputs.
- Working with other team members to deliver high quality, well-attended events that showcase work to industry representatives.
- Representing at external events and meetings, including leading on specific items and becoming a subject matter expert.
- Participating in webinars and other events.
- The post holder will need to demonstrate that they can support the work programme of committees or other collaborative projects, such as research, technical working
- Experience of producing clear and concise communications, such as presentations, meeting notes and work plans.
- A degree, or other equivalent, relevant qualification is preferred – but not essential for the right candidate.
• Previous policy experience is desirable, along with the ability to draft high quality reports and briefing documents.• Understanding of the policy issues surrounding AI, open finance and digital identity is desirable.
- Proven ability to provide concise analysis and recommended options on policy- related matters.
- Experience of working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience of project management in a public sector, financial services or professional services firm is desirable.
- Experience in financial services or innovation policy and strategy.
