Due to continued success, our professional practices team is growing. This pivotal Manager position is perfectly suited for a qualified accountant aspiring to fast-track their career within an expanding sector and successful team.
What you'll be doing day to day
- Supporting a diverse client portfolio from UK Top 100 law firms to sole legal practitioners.
- Utilising your talented accounting knowledge and skills to collaborate with clients and deliver an exceptional service.
- Identifying financial, commercial and tax planning opportunities for clients.
- Planning, preparing, completing and reviewing year-end accounts, tax computations and tax returns.
- High level planning, completing and reviewing Solicitor Accounts Rules audits
- Coaching and supporting junior team members.
- Managing compliance work for a portfolio of clients
- Day to day management of the professional practices team overseeing workflow and ensuring work is delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
- Working with Partners on new client work.
About you
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent QBE) - or nearing qualification.
- Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)
- Enjoys having a laugh, whilst working hard and being part of a supportive team.
- Commercially astute, with keen analytical and problem-solving mind.
- A natural ability to build rapport quickly with clients and other employees across the firm.
- Knowledgeable of accounts preparation, tax compliance for various business entities.
- Adept user of accounts and tax return software.
