Form of workWe are working with a leading designer, manufacturer and installer of high end composite decking for static caravans and other holiday homes around Dorset. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join their team.
The main duties are to ensure all installations are completed as planned and agreed with customers, ensure material usage is optimised, and stock is strictly managed and to promote continuous improvement of quality and productivity.
Othe duties will include:
- Recruit, develop, manage, train and motivate the Installation and Factory team.
- Accept responsibility for Health and Safety of workforce whilst on site and travelling to parks and sites within the region
- Compliance with Group H&S policy, PPE, RAMS, Customer Safety Questionnaires.
- Provide technical support for sales Reps especially with surveying and complex projects.
- Manage the Vehicle fleet and Drivers using tracking data ensuring vans are kept clean and presentable and are safe at all times.
The ideal candidate will
- Have experience supervising and managing others both on the factory floor and out on site
- Have the ability to fabricate and install upvc and composite building products
- Hold a full Driving Licence essential
