IPS are partnered with an exciting Lloyd’s syndicate / Insurtech, challenging the traditional insurance model, in their search for a Manager to develop their Catastrophe/Exposure Analytics team focused on Property risks.
The successful candidate will provide pricing, rollup, analytics and subsequent management information and reporting to a variety of internal stakeholders (Underwriting, ORI and Senior Management). You will also have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other team members in supporting product development, enhancing the internal view of risk and ad hoc project initiatives. Furthermore, this role provides the opportunity to be involved in the training and development of Junior Analysts – with the view of overseeing future hires into the team, in line with planned growth and expansion.
To be considered for the above role:
- Strong understanding and use of Catastrophe Models, with Property class of business experience essential.
- Proficiency with SQL is desired, with additional programming / coding languages being beneficial but not a pre-requisite.
- Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
- Keen to immerse fully into a unique, forward-thinking environment.
