Working Location : Hong Kong or other cities in China
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with other Business Units such as CSI, DHL Express, DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Supply Chain effectively.
- Collaborate with internal functions (Product, Sales Support, Operations, HR, IT, Legal, Finance, etc) to support the sales process, gather required input and coordinate actions.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure quality and improve performance.
- Identify new customer opportunities, engage sales process, and successfully close new business.
- Identify, establish and manage multi-tiered relationships across customer and DHL Business Units to ensure a long-term business partnership and achievement of corporate goals.
- Ensure alignment and attainment of short and long-term attainment targets within territory.
- Develop strategies to increase sales penetration and profits, leverage resources to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Manage the development of business acquisition projects ensuring targeted revenue and profitability levels.
- Develop presentations and proposals of customized solutions for various decision making audiences to close on new business.
- Lead and manage customer presentations and proposals.
- Build executive relationships with target customers. Acquire, manage and develop profitable business from customers within assigned territory.
- Assess customer needs and match them with DHL Same Day services.
- Ensure common understanding of service expectations and solutions between the customer and DHL Same Day.
- Maintain accurate and timely details for all opportunities in CRM system -Sales Force.
- Accurately and timely report sales activities in Sales Force system, aligned with strategic assigned territory growth initiatives.
- Submit in a timely manner expenses approved for reimbursement, promote and support best-practice transfer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Business Management or relevant qualification
- 7 years or above proven successful sales experience in logistics industry
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Excellent knowledge of operational process with strategic perspective
- Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Cross cultural competence
- Demonstrated strategic vision and insight into market evolution, with strong analytical, planning and decision-making skills
- Systematic problem-solving skills and customer focus
