We're looking for Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Eastern and Midlands team based in Rushden.
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Eastern and Midlands team, supporting them in completion of Luton and Dunstable hospital.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing applications for payment from sub contractors
- Preparation of applications for payment to clients.
- Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure in the form of CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation Reports)
- Preparation of final accounts
- Managing team workloads
What are we looking for?
This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
- Relevant experience within high value construction projects at Managing level
- Tier 1 Main Contracting Experience within high value new builds.
- Strong contractual knowledge of NEC and JCT Contract Conditions
- Ability to assign commercial resources and provide management and mentorship to staff at various levels.
