Salary: £29,000 Per Annum (Including SA)
Metalis is working in partnership with an large manufacturing company in Sheffield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a Manual Turner on a permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have medium to large manual turning experience.
- Ideally trepanning experience
- Familiarity with exotic alloys preferred but not essential.
- Maintaining and owning the quality of the products machined
- Following and maintaining all documentation standards required
- Working to fine tolerances within a Six Sigma environment
- Working to production schedules to meet output requirements.
- Carrying out planned health and safety checks of equipment.
- Maintain high house-keeping standards.
- Any reasonable task as requested by the Team Leader or Manager
- In depth Training can be provided on the lathes if required.

Pay and Benefits:
- Two shift system- mornings and afters alternating
- £25,000 per annum plus 16% shift allowance
