Our client is a leading international supplier of innovative Wellbeing & Bodycare products. They offer a complete range of products including Skincare, Haircare, Bath & Body, Fine Fragrance and Home Fragrance. Turnover is growing rapidly and is currently £25M+ and covers the UK, North America, Europe, and Australasian markets.
The company has ambitious plans and a strategy to match to deliver fast long-term growth. At the core of the organization is the production facility that manufactures over 15 million units from a 120k sq ft site in East Anglia.
This is a great time to join the group as it has ambitious plans and a strategy to deliver fast growth internationally. They are looking to hire a dynamic Manufacturing Manager to assist with this growth, they need to strengthen the senior management team in the production facility and seek a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Manager ideally from within the Personal Care sector.
THE ROLE
The successful applicant will have responsibility for Bulk Production and filling lines for the factory and will report to the Manufacturing Director.
You will be given full autonomy and will be judged purely on driving increased efficiencies in the bulk and filling plant. Initially, the focus will be on Bulk Production and building a stable team of competent individuals.
A key part of the job will be raising the skills of the supervisors and line leaders and encouraging them to take a more proactive role in driving efficiencies.

There is no preset profile that we are looking for. Above all else though we are looking for somebody with the right attitude and character, who has a natural leader with a relentless drive to achieve success. A self-starter with leadership skills.
"Corporate people" need not apply.
You will be at the epicentre of events so you will need to have the mental strength to persuade others to do what is needed, see things through to fruition and be able to pay great attention to detail.
It will at times be a very fast-paced demanding role. It will require a positive/can-do attitude, intelligence/common sense, and lots of self-confidence. A proactive approach as well as exceptional people skills without being afraid of being unpopular combined with knowing the status of all actions across your function will be expected.
Finally, you will need a sense of fun.
The business constantly evolves and develops, but it is expected that when you have proved yourself and contributed to the success of the business you will be invited to be a Director.
