The Opportunity
As a Marine Technician, you will play a pivotal role in managing a broad spectrum of Marine policies across global territories. Your responsibilities will include:
Technical Support:
- Collaborate with senior colleagues in the production of insurance documentation, including slips, cover notes, endorsements, etc.
- Calculate premiums and efficiently process entries on our in-house broking system.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Client Portfolio Management:
- Manage your own portfolio of clients, serving as their primary point of contact for any questions or concerns.
- Build strong relationships with clients and vessel owners to understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions.
Global Network Interaction:
- Work closely with a global network of professionals, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop a deep understanding of regional nuances and regulations to optimize policy management.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
- Proven experience in Marine Insurance, with a strong focus on policy management and technical support.
- Familiarity with insurance documentation production and premium calculation processes.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, vessel owners, and colleagues on a global scale.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in policy documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid work environment.
