JOB TITLE:Market Director, Cash Management & Payments
LOCATION: Southampton
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
About This Opportunity
Our Cash Management & Payments (CM&P) business create broader customer and client relationships though an enhanced Cash Management and payments propositions to build a sustainable and inclusive future.
We fulfil clients’ treasury needs and help them manage their financial risks as well as striving to offer clients an optimum client experience when transacting our products.
We’re looking for a senior Market Manager with expertise in Deposits & the liquidity environment, who supports senior leadership and leads teams of more junior colleagues in product development and management to deliver strong outcomes.
The Market Manager plays a pivotal role in leading others to set high standards of Market specialism, product management, governance, development, and strategy to get results for the Commercial Bank and Products business.

What You’ll Need
  • Product & Process - You should have expertise in Deposits, Liquidity markets, associated products and experience with Credit ratings/CDS.
  • Platform requirements - Proficient in Bloomberg & CRM tools.
  • Presentation - consistent track record to tailor & present sophisticated subject matter in a useable way for the audience
  • Leadership - Sets direction for team and role models the Group Values to build a positive environment that allows colleagues to be at their best whilst delivering balanced growth.
  • Partner Engagement - Actively establishes relationships with internal and external clients, crafting open and clear communications and being recognised as a respected partner.
  • Risk & Control - Monitors risks pragmatically and takes action to ensure all aspects of regulatory, operational, financial, information security and IT risk are satisfied and mitigated in line with the Group Risk Framework, appetite, and policies.
  • Change / Continuous Improvement - Lead the team in identification, shaping and delivery of enhancements to processes, controls, and working practices to improve efficiency, client service and risk profile. Initiate, shape, champion, and support delivery of strategic change.
  • Environmental Awareness - Exercise excellent judgement in decision making by remaining aware of evolving business, market, economic, regulatory, and political factors and take those into account along with client, colleague, conduct and partner considerations in business decisions.
  • Colleagues - Engages colleagues through consistent actions delivered with integrity. Take ownership of coaching, performance management, talent management and succession planning to cultivate the colleague agenda across the wider business.
