Marketing Account Executive

We are a small, dynamic and international company looking for an Account Executive to work with some of our green mobility, manufacturing, FMCG, and tourism clients, contribute high-quality content for digital marketing, and support campaigns and other events. Excellent English copywriting skills and digital fluency are essential, plus the ability to manage your own workload and use your initiative.

This is a unique opportunity based in Bristol's city centre, with 2 days per week working from home for full time work. We are also open to part time candidates on a pro rata salary. Please specify your ideal hours on application.

The Account Executive will:

• Be responsible for a couple of clients, carrying out marketing tasks according to the brief, with support.
• Source, create, schedule and distribute content across various social channels, using Buffer and in-channel scheduling.
• Write English copy to a high standard, both short (social captions, headlines) and long form (articles, reports, newsletters etc.).
• Respond to and direct comments and queries.
• Create channel-specific social/digital ads.
• Reach out to influencers, related industry accounts and client partners.
• Research and draft presentations according to client's needs (eg. competitor comparison, basic market summary).
• Proofread and edit documents up to a fluent and engaging standard of English.
• Generate regular reports in given formats, using provided analytic tools.
• Regularly contact with clients to source information and to feed back on channels.
• Take part in video conference calls.
• Contribute to the delivery of events and campaigns.

Person specification

Must have:

• Experience managing social media
• Copywriting experience
• A passion for social media, digital communication, PR and branding
• Fluent to native level in written and spoken English
• Ability to work without close supervision, but as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills

Advantageous:

• Comfortable presenting to an audience
• Photo and video editing skills

We have not set a degree as a requirement for this role, however the day to day work involves a great deal of written English communication, which must be to a very high standard of accuracy and quality.
