Hours: 37.5 hours per week (9am-5pm Monday to Friday)
This role will initially be office-based at the hospice in Wroughton. Longer term there is flexibility to work from home in a more hybrid way.
What is the role?
As the hospice’s digital communications and marketing officer, you will be responsible for delivering high quality content across a range of platforms to promote our work in an engaging way to our local community. This is a varied role working with a range of departments in the hospice including our patient services, fundraising, retail and volunteer teams.
You will build relationships internally and externally to find the interesting stories that highlight our work, and you’ll embrace creative and innovative ways to promote the care we deliver to our patients and how people can raise vital funds to support that care.
The successful candidate must have a flair for identifying and creating engaging content with successful background in distributing this to a local community to maximise impact. We are looking for someone who can bring their experience of digital communications and marketing campaigns to enhance our promotional activity and help the charity meet our ambitious strategic objective to create and support a community where death is no longer a taboo.
This is a new role for the hospice and will be focussed on increasing the presence of our brand and our story in the local area and nationally.
