Daily duties will include updating the content calendar, communicating with our Director to create posts and copy, sharing posts on our Social Media platforms, replying to and engaging with our online community, and organizing and creating content.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing marketing concepts for new and upcoming product and material collaborations
  • Developing both written and verbal communication (i.e., copywriting, Social Media captions, voice overs on videos)
  • Engaging with our online community
  • Writing and researching blog posts
  • Creating press and product releases through email campaigns
  • Generating innovative and interesting content for Social Media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok)
  • Assisting in planning, promoting, and facilitating special events

FibreLab is an award-winning textile recycling start-up based in Hackney Wick, east London. We use a custom-built mechanical shredding machine to turn post-industrial textile waste into valuable recycled fibre. We work one-on-one with our clients to customise the process for their textile waste needs, which range from off-cuts from the garment manufacturing process to stained and damaged linens from the hospitality sector. We’re constantly developing new applications for recycled fibre so that we can turn our clients’ waste streams into innovative products. Our hyper-local, circular approach ensures that the waste collection, sorting and remanufacturing process stays within the UK and is environmentally sustainable.
