Our client a well-recognised professional membership body is currently recruiting for a Marketing Assistant.
If you are a graduate or equivalent with some marketing experience, we would love to hear from you. Full training will be provided.
The Role of Marketing Assistant
Assist in the delivery of a range of marketing, communications, and web content management activities to enable the delivery of improvement projects. Provide comprehensive and proactive assistance to the Marketing team in all aspects of marketing.
Key Duties
Drive new lead generation for new Members.
Drive the retention and renewal of existing Members.
Raise the profile & Members within the industry.
Supporting in the management of new and existing website content.
Supporting in the re-structure of Member content to ensure it’s accessible and
Reporting & monitoring of key website metrics, goals & activity.
Support in the distribution and promotion using written and digital
communications activity.
Attending Physical & virtual industry exhibitions (virtually, regionally, nationally & awards).
Assist in the ongoing review, updating and distribution of all Marketing and collateral and promotional products.
Support in member, marketplace and competitor monitoring to ensure we
remain relevant to our members and the marketplace.
Supporting in the delivery & promotion of other projects.
Supporting the other members of the marketing team in the execution of their
Carrying out other relevant duties as required by the Marketing Manager.
Person Specification
Essential
Experience of working with CMS (content management) platforms (we use Kentico but experience with similar systems will suffice)
Experience of on and offline marketing activities
High degree of spoken and written English
Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to pick up new software packages easily
A flexible and co-operative attitude
Desirable
Experience of working with data in Excel
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (in particular - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Experience with exhibitions & events, including planning and promoting
