About the Role
This role will support the development and delivery of Marketing Campaigns and strategy for OxfordAQA International Qualifications to drive reach, recognition, usage, and advocacy across key customer segments, in line with departmental/ divisional objectives.
The post holder will contribute to marketing planning and execution of marketing activities, with a strong initial focus on marketing automation and lead generation. On agreed areas they will take the lead on campaign development. Day to day activities could include contributing to campaign planning, building or adjusting an email nurture journey, briefing designers, and meeting with sales colleagues to get customer feedback.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Contribute to the development of marketing plans and messaging with clear marketing objectives and KPls, taking the lead on the planning and delivery of agreed campaigns.
- Research, devise, and assist in the implementation of integrated Marketing Campaigns (with a focus on email automation and lead generation).
- Use research and data to inform campaigns and achieve maximum impact, ensuring that the voice of the customer is represented in all activities.
- Write impactful and detailed messaging, boilerplate and on-product copy and ensure consistency across customer-facing channels regionally and globally.
- Utilize data analytics to track campaigns and adjust tactics to optimize reach and engagement regularly.
- Delegate, oversee and review work set to and external agencies/ freelancers
- Coordinate our presence and attend conferences and events, as required.
- Develop campaign plan tactics within the guidelines set out by Compliance & Ethical Marketing policies.
- Support marketing team workflows, consistently making recommendations for streamlining processes, and taking ownership of agreed processes, where appropriate.
Please this role will need to undertake occasional international travels.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have/be:
- Experience of contributing to multi-channel digital Marketing Campaigns
- Experience in marketing automation, ideally with a focus on lead generation
- Knowledge/ experience of the Education of Assessment sector is highly desirable
- Familiar with marketing fundamentals (use of data, KPIs, customer lifecycle, customer journey)
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (written and verbal), including copywriting
- Customer-focused, solution-focused, team player
- Able to synthesize data and information and use it to inform campaign planning
- Creative thinker, willingness and flexibility to embrace change
- Ability to multi-task and comfortable working across different project simultaneously
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise successfully
