Your Role:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Assistant for a 12-month fixed term contract to support Apollo’s marketing and communications efforts.

What you’ll do:
As a Marketing and Communications Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of our marketing and communication strategies. You will work closely with the business and Communications team to enhance our brand presence, engage with our audience, and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work with external communication consultancy and internal stakeholders to create press releases and announcements: drafting content and support through approval process including engaging with journalists.
- Content creation for Apollo intranet, Galaxy, ensuring content is current, accurate, and engaging.
- Support with managing the Communications Calendar including creating annual themes and managing content collation.
- Support with coordination of internal and external events and conferences.
- Collaborate with external PR Partner to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment with overall business objectives.
- Working with Operational Resilience teams to draft and business continuity news and updates.
- Support wider communications team with tasks including report writing, running analytics, updating procedure manuals and checklists.
What we are looking for:
- Applicants must have experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various channels.
- A good attention to detail.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CMS platforms, and social media management tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
