This is a permanent role working Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (37.5 hours per week) offering a salary of £35-40,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This is an office-based role.
As Marketing Communications Executive, you will report into the Marketing & Ecommerce Manager and work within a busy team of 6 people which includes specialists in social media and digital marketing. You will lead and deliver key marketing projects and assist in managing marketing literature and communication activities to drive sales across the brand. Key duties will cover the following:
- Support the Sales team with all promotional and Marketing Communications activity to support all customers and market sectors
- Gain an in-depth understanding of customers’ businesses and problems upon which to devise promotional activities
- Explore new and innovative ways to present their products in order to motivate customers to choose them over the competition
- Ensure that costs for all activities do not exceed previously agreed budgets
- Keeping business and customers up to date with relevant marketing activities
- Propose, plan and agree activity for all marketing activity in conjunction with the Head of Marketing
- Control and brief all agencies and approve all output under the direction of the Head of Marketing
- Management of exhibitions and events, as and when required
- Provide quantitative and measurable feedback on the effectiveness and outcome of marketing activities
- Contribute to the running of new product launches and ensure the launches are fully driven through the sales force and customer marketing materials
- Act as a brand ambassador ensuring all brand values is consistently reflected in all Marketing Communications
- Manage and coordinate images required, whether CGI or actual photography
- Manage an ongoing relationship and frequent liaison with the marketing personnel of our clients key customers/suppliers, supporting their individual marketing activity
We are keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a Marketing Communications (marcoms) role
- You will be naturally creative with demonstrable experience in creating and delivering impactful literature and communication strategies
- Passionate and confident in your presenting skills with previous experience in presenting at large board meetings with senior management
- Strong IT skills is essential (Microsoft Office Suite, in particular PowerPoint and Word)
- Marketing software knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
- A degree in marketing / CIM qualification or similar will be highly beneficial
- Strong problem solving skills are required
