Marketing Controller

• They currently have a vacancy for a Marketing Controller to the strategy and marketing team across on the UK’s favourite brands
• A business with strong brand heritage producing well loved brands that line UK’s consumers cupboards

The role:

• We are looking for a highly experienced Marketing Controller to drive brand plans and strategy to ensure delivery of growth
• Ensure innovation plans are delivered in line with business strategy
• Lead, develop and motivate a team of 2 direct reports
• To manage the day to day relationship with the brand partner ensuring the brand / business delivers against KPIs
• Live and breathe the brand vision acting as a key strategic and commercial brand owner in the business

Ideal candidate:

• Classically trained marketer with experience within an branded FMCG environment operating at a senior marketing level
• Strong experience of working cross-functionally and leading an organisation to work to one growth agenda
• Evidence of developing strong brand strategies as well as delivering plans to execute them
• Excellent leadership experience across both of people and strategies
• Experience operating in a full marketing mix capacity is essential
• A commercially and analytically aware individual, comfortable developing and presenting business case, turning data into recommendations
• Experience of brand P&L value management experience, able to demonstrate good commercial judgement is a must
