Marketing Coordinator

Fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company as a Marketing Coordinator in Coventry! You must be able to drive as you will be expected to go to events and have previous marketing experience focusing on product design through to production or if you are a recent graduate within marketing with a year work experience we would love to hear from you!
Competitive salary
Monday to Friday 9-5 (Office based)
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (3 days to be taken for Christmas shut down)
Main Duties;
o The management and development of all current and new products, from initial concept through to production and first delivery.
o Creating marketing and social media strategies
o Organisation and preparation of all sales and marketing material which will include sales literature, presentations for the sales team, labels etc.
o Overseeing advertising, web marketing and PR as well and e-mail campaigns and managing large scale promotions incorporating elements of the entire marketing mix.
o Working with external agencies to produce marketing collateral
o Setting budgets, targets and timelines
o Organising and attending events/exhibitions to meet new and existing clients and drive sales
o Research and analysis of market trends and target markets
o Provide market and competitor information
o First point of call for all product enquiries and working collaboratively with colleagues to address any issues that may arise
Person Specification;
o A proven track record of marketing in a B2B environment
o Able to drive and have own car
o A very good understanding of applying the full marketing mix - marketing, product marketing, brand marketing, events, social media, brochures, etc.
o A good understanding and experience of digital marketing platforms
o Literate in Microsoft Office - Excel skillset to be at least Intermediate
o Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
o Good planning and organisation skills - able to manage a multiple number of projects at any one time
o Willingness to travel when required - e.g. factories and customer visits; including travel abroad to exhibitions
