Marketing & Events Executive

A well established, growing manufacturing business based in Basildon, Essex is seeking a Marketing & Events Coordinator/Executive to join their team on a part-time permanent basis. Offering flexibility with part-time hours, this is an exciting opportunity to work within a leading SME business.
Your new role
Working in a mixed role, you will be responsible for outlining the marketing approach for the business, focusing on driving brand awareness, enhancing customer engagement, and supporting business growth. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Event Coordination: Attending industry shows and events to represent their brand, setting up eye-catching exhibition stands that showcase their products, and creating compelling presentations, leaflets, and brochures to captivate attendees.
• Review and make recommendations to keep the website up to date with relevant and engaging content
• Set up and manage social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Design and create advertisements for trade publications and local magazines.
• Collaborate with local colleges and communities to foster partnerships and promote the company as an employer of choice.
• Regularly analyse commercial outcomes and present findings to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
• Provide actionable insights to enhance marketing strategies.
• Assist in creating and executing email marketing campaigns.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in event coordination, website content management, digital marketing, and advertising.
• Experience in Motorsport, Automotive or Manufacturing industries is desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Social Media platforms, Content Management Systems and graphic design tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
