Marketing Executive
Salary £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid role - 50% based in Central Milton Keynes office)

The Role: Marketing Executive
We are looking for an energetic and experienced Marketing Executive to assist in the planning, execution, and optimisation of our online marketing efforts, by delivering highly effective integrated lead generation campaigns with a focus on digital channels.
Key Responsibilities & Critical Success Measures
• Meeting all agreed campaign KPI’s in terms of raw lead generation.
• Build and maintain product knowledge: understand the business and technical problems that our solutions address.  Stay current on the Riskex product roadmap, understanding the features and functionality of all product modules and packages, and how these are applied to address client needs.
• Keep up to date on latest marketing trends including the role of AI as part of the marketing mix
• Build awareness of; and maintain up-to-date insights regarding health and safety market trends and the competitor landscape.
• Creating Social Media posts and maximising engagement and followers.
• Contribute to the marketing strategy, impacting by proposing new ideas for campaigns, content, key MarComms messages and MarTech.
• Proactively optimise website SEO by continually updating web content, carrying out site audits and actioning suggested changes, maintain up-to-date working knowledge of the key levers and algorithm changes across key search engines.
• Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends etc.).
• Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies updated.
• Implement new features on the website to automate lead generation and qualification.
• Plan and execute the promotional activity for Riskex webinars, both in-house and third party, maximising attendance, and lead generation.
• Creation of digital marketing assets – eBooks, social media cards, digital banners.
• Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organise their distribution through various channels.
• Coordinate customer insight projects including client surveys and focus groups.
Candidate Profile
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology. You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can  become a strong asset to securing growing revenue. You will be excited to learn about and embrace the role of AI in digital marketing.  You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to underpin our marketing campaigns.
• Minimum professional qualification requirements: CIM Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing or Apprenticeship level 3 Digital Marketing or equivalent in a similar field.
• Proven experience as Marketing Coordinator or Executive or similar role – at least 2 years.
• Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
• Good working knowledge of a range of digital Marketing tools including email marketing software.
• Experience with B2B social media, email campaigns and SEO/SEM.
• Working knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.).
• Experience in creative content writing.
• Experience in using CRM systems.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Experience in using DTP / design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience and confidence in using website CMS – WordPress preferred.
• Experience of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and the ability to understand how to adapt posts to engage audiences across all platforms.
• Well-structured and organised, able to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
• Curiosity and desire to learn and grow.
• Operates professionally - personal presentation, respect, integrity, and good time keeping.
• Reliable, self-motivated, pro-active, and positive.
• Has a mindset to do what is needed “to get the job done”.
• Some experience of using email marketing systems.
