About StreetVet
StreetVet is a growing national charity, committed to providing free vet care to the pets of people experiencing homelessness and to keeping pets and owners together to maintain their unbreakable bond. StreetVet relies on its team of over 500 vet and nurse volunteers in twenty three locations around the UK to deliver free medical treatment, funded by grants, partnerships, corporate and individual donors. Since its inception in 2016 the charity has treated more than 2400 pets, and has won numerous awards.
Main Purpose of the Role
The charity is looking to recruit a dynamic and passionate, marketeer with digital and website management experience to work alongside the Head of Marketing to implement the marketing strategy and build and strengthen brand awareness. StreetVet is a small team of just thirteen employees, working alongside its army of veterinary volunteers, so we expect the successful candidate to be a self-starter with a “can do” attitude. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing national charity and make a real impact in the shaping of the marketing & digital strategy.
Broad Description of Role:
Digital Marketing:
Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement a digital strategy that fully supports the charities aim, mission, and values.
• Be the lead and ‘go to’ person for digital marketing across the charity.
• Develop audience insights, improving and optimising the user experience and supporter journeys.
• Work with the Head of Marketing on key marketing practices and techniques through digital channels including supporter acquisition, data insights, analysis, testing and measurement.
• Develop and implement digital content and videos that will compliment and nurture the marketing and fundraising strategy to strengthen the financial sustainability of StreetVet.
• Own and manage StreetVet’s social media output collaborating with internal team members, locations, volunteers, corporate partners and external digital support resources.
• Manage and be key point of contact for website (content creation / upkeep / compliance).
• Set up dashboards to report on the performance of StreetVet’s digital channels.
• Develop and expand digital media used to promote StreetVet and raise brand awareness e.g video, podcasts, blogs, new platforms.
• Work with Head of Marketing to develop a Paid Media Campaign strategy.
• Take ownership of StreetVet’s Google Grant Ad Campaign Account & Strategy.
• Management of all email campaigns and platforms for the charity.
Marketing Strategy:
Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement the annual marketing strategy for the charity.
• Formalise the brand, voice, and messaging across all communication materials internally and externally for StreetVet and the StreetVet Accredited Hostel Scheme.
• Understand the brand guidelines and work with cross-functional teams to consistently implement the brand voice across all channels and marketing materials.
• Update all templates and ensure that documents are on the latest versions and saved for central team access.
• Create and maintain the image library and document control rules.
StreetVet Collateral:
• Work with Head of Marketing and other departments to update existing StreetVet collateral when needed.
• Work with external creative resources, Head of Marketing, and other departments to create new StreetVet collateral across all mediums – print, digital, email etc.
• Formalise and manage the StreetVet media library and create a set of guidelines for use internally & externally.
• Own and manage StreetVet’s case study content collaborating with locations and volunteers.
Events:
• Own the setup and promotion of the StreetVet Monthly CPD Event Programme
• Assist in the development of content for the annual 2 day StreetVet conference
• Attendance of some external events to represent StreetVet

• Demonstrable experience of working successfully as part of a cross-disciplinary team, whilst also being able to work on own initiative and fully remote
• Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Canva, Adobe Suite (including InDesign), social media platforms and web design software
• Creative and innovative mindset, with excellent attention to detail
• Experience in creating and editing video clips
• Experience with CRM platforms
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be able to work flexibly within a small, fast-growing organisation
