About the job
We looking for a Marketing Executive to join our B2B Customer Marketing team, based in our Manchester office.
Our customer marketing team drives change in an established market, influencing attitudes and perceptions of automotive retailing and Auto Trader. Our team of expert marketers play a key role in communicating and building partnerships with B2B / Trade customers to ensure they make best use of our products, data and services.
Our primary customer group is automotive retailers, ranging from small Independent retailers, right up to large franchised groups. However, we’re increasingly starting to market to a growing range of B2B customers including technology partners who integrate with our systems and data, OEMs we work with, along with other partners in the industry who consumer our data, such as insurance companies and funders.
As a Marketing Executive, you’ll focus on engaging our audiences with great content. You’ll run the day-to-day activity for some of our key programs such as bi-weekly external webinars and online learning content. You’ll manage our monthly newsletter, and other insight communications and support on campaigns across the team.
In this role, you will assist in various B2B marketing campaigns aimed at promoting Auto Trader’s products, data, and services. Additionally, you will focus on building and strengthening relationships with our B2B customers by developing a deep understanding of the automotive industry and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.

What we're looking for
- You might believe that a passion for cars is a requirement, but guess what? It’s not! At Auto Trader, you’re welcome just as you are
- Experience as a Marketing Exec working on marketing campaigns, whether in-house or in agency (for B2B-facing brands, preferably)
- Capable of running or working on integrated campaigns across CRM, social, content and blogs, web, video, etc
- Ability to leading on projects/campaigns from inception, can support strategic decision-making by managers, and is able to evolve/build on current campaigns
- Utilising data to help shape campaign strategy & approach as well as using it to tell meaningful stories would be valuable
- Experience working with stakeholders, collaborating with and aligning varied teams across the business which can include (but not limited to) Product, Tech, Sales, PR and comms, and analytics
- Comfortable working to deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong creative flair and ability to find creative solutions to problems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and organisational skills

We're offering a salary of £28,000-£34,000, and a flexible benefits package to support your health and well-being.
