Your responsibilities
- Working as part of the UK and Ireland (UI) Marketing team, and with the guidance of the Marketing lead and Omnichannel Strategy & Campaign Managers, the PR & Marketing Intern role is designed to deliver performance orientated, achievement hungry talent, undertaking their year in industry as part of their degree, structured exposure and experience to B2B Public Relations, Digital Marketing & Marcoms. The PR & Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of online and offline marketing communication activities [including but not exhaustive, social media, SEA, third party media, advertising and event marketing], across medical and surgical business units, while working with Business Units and Marketing to create PR and customer success stories, aimed to distribution to third party media The Internship will commence in July 2024 and will be offering a hybrid working model at HQ in Southend on Sea Key Responsibilities
- Contribute omni-channel marketing campaigns to support key strategic pillars: Support Marketing team with Marketing planning process. Contribute towards digital marketing strategies and campaigns: Supporting activation of social Media, SEA, Email, Advertising, Event marketing activities.
- Public Relations: Identifying potential proof points. Storytelling and creating/writing customer success and PR stories, communicating commercial wins and milestones. Co-ordinating third party media lists and distribution of stories. Persona mapping: identification of key target personas, development of playbooks [to incl persona responsibilities, drivers, pains and Olympus' solutions]. Support Marketing team with internal communications of marketing plans and progress. Help plan and attend key industry events. Contribute to marketing meetings. Undertake other duties as required. Ensure marketing efforts applicable to regulatory and quality requirements as stipulated within the KeyMed Quality Manual, Quality Policy, and Quality Objectives. Ensure marketing efforts applicable to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements as stipulated within the HSE Manual, HSE Policies, and HSE Objectives.
Your qualification
- Undertaking a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing & Public Relations. Demonstrable track record of consistently achieving. Excellent commercial acumen. High capacity to learn. Highly motivated. Ambitious with a drive for results.
- Tenacious and self-motivated. Creative and innovative. Willing to challenge the status quo to improve. Ability to present complex information in a structured and balanced manner. Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to plan, focus, and execute. Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills. Must be able to work as part of a team. Willing to travel and occasionally work unsocial hours subject to business requirements. Resilient. Computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
