To address this challenge, we launched our flagship sustainable behaviour change programme (Save our Streams) in April 2021, and through our strategic, creative integrated communications campaign we have successfully reduced our customers use by millions of litres every day over the last three years.
Now entering the fourth year, our water reduction programme and campaign is established, and we are now looking for someone passionate about marketing, digital literate and a seasoned media professional to help us take the programme forward.
This role is responsible for working with colleagues across the Marketing & Communications team; subject matter experts as well as our agency partners to plan, implement and deliver marketing campaigns that support our behaviour change and water saving programmes.
Principal accountabilities:
This is a key role within our Marketing & Communications team, which is responsible for coordinating multiple subject matter experts across different channels, building public perception and lasting connections with our diverse customer base.
We are looking for a talented, experienced marketeer who has demonstrable experience of different marketing channels and agency management to coordinate and manage the delivery of ambitious creative campaigns with our agency partners and internal channel experts.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will work closely, with the channel leads, and the Demand Management Programme Manager.
Typically, you will be responsible for:
- Being the champion of our marketing campaigns.
- Working closely with the campaign lead and channel leads to plan and deliver and optimise the programme to meet the campaign objectives, water reduction targets and campaign awareness.
- Drive the communication, messaging and integration around key audiences.
- To drive integration and efficiencies across the entire plan including external agency partners, internal marketing and communication channels, and wider demand management team and partnerships.
- Co-ordinate the analysis of marketing campaigns, funnels and behaviour change commitments, providing recommendations to stakeholders on investment and optimisation opportunities.
- Take responsibility for day-to-day management of our agency partners’ scopes, delivery, budgets, and performance (including media; digital & content creative, social media & influencers, eCRM, PR and educational specialist) ensuring they deliver on time, on budget and against KPIs.
- Using project planning tools & dashboards to manage timelines/deadlines and monitor progress with channel leads v KPIs of different channels including website visits/customer emails/social media and water-saving tool completions.
- Work with our data & insights team, digital managers and agency partners to track programme performance and optimise for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and control campaign budgets ensuring efficient use of spend, manages administration tasks & overall governance surrounding that control.
- Collate and report monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on the campaign and water-saving programme performance.
- Ensuring that the programme and assets are compliant, working with in-house legal and compliance teams.
Experience required:
- Proven experience (minimum of 8 years) of developing, managing, implementing, and aligning successful creative marketing campaigns with multiple workstreams.
- Digital expertise and understanding across multiple channels from planning to creative execution and reporting. Preference for prior media agency experience.
- Experience of overseeing production of assets and materials for different marketing channels including digital & content; advertising; social & influencers; PR and customer communications.
- Proven experience of briefing, managing delivery and performance of digital creative agencies.
- Effective leadership, collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrable experience of internal and external team management and liaison.
- Effective budget management, tracking and forecasting.
