Marketing Manager

£40k per annum + bonus
Agenda Partnership have partnered with our Wellingborough based client who are recruiting a new Marketing Manager. This role will drive forward the marketing plan for B2B customers with an aim to lead and grow the sales and marketing strategy.
You will directly manage the ecommerce technology from website to all other aspects of integration including payments, SEO, artwork systems etc. You will select and manage external vendors and maintain strong relationships with fulfilment partners.
Your technical skills will ensure high traffic, high conversion and a slick and streamlined experience, both for our customers and internal processes.
You will also research and develop the proposition, broadening the product offering and exploring additional services to drive growth or margin improvement.
Outside of the main brand, you will all dedicate approx. 30% of your time to specifically manage the digital marketing for the core business, taking responsibility for websites, SEO and social marketing from a technical perspective.
This is a role reporting directly into the Managing Director.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a plan to grow their newly acquired business
- Plan and implement strategies for automating as many aspects of the client journey and internal fulfilment as possible, significantly reducing the manual handling of enquiries, quotes, orders and invoicing.
- Direct management 4 employees with the marketing and sales set up
- Drive results in SEO, PPC and social marketing
- Plan, manage and control the annual budgets
- Manage external agencies, media partners and suppliers
- Manage, train and motivate the Digital Marketing Team
- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure others are kept informed of their message to their customers
Skills
- A skilled, creative, and experienced ecommerce/marketing professional
- Evidence of showing leadership qualities
- Worked within a B2B service or product provider
- A very strong command and understanding of web, ecommerce, UX, and social marketing.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to drive results and best value from external suppliers.
- Persistent and able to stay focused on achieving results
