An exciting opportunity has opened to join our team as Market Manager for Germany, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the marketing strategy for our fastest growing market in Europe. Reporting to the European Marketing Manager and working alongside a dedicated team of German sales professionals, you will be responsible for managing all in-market communication channels, events and driving overall market success. While the role is based at our Stoke-on-Trent head office, there will be opportunity to travel into market to support our Berlin showroom, a busy calendar of activity and to inform strategic decisions.
Duties of the Marketing Manager:
- Daily collaboration with European sales representatives to drive and support market activity to achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners across Germany to create and execute marketing plans aligned with company goals.
- Conduct market research to build awareness of market conditions, identify trends, opportunities and monitor competitor activity.
- Generate and feed insight to contribute to the development of strategic marketing plans for Germany.
- Analyse and manipulate market data to indicate and assess opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Lead the marketing efforts for product launches in European markets.
- Share market feedback to steer new product development process. Ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all communication channels.
- Collaborate with the product development team to understand product features and benefits for effective communication.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations and digital content tailored for the German audience.
- Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manipulate data and work with analytics tools to assess the impact of marketing efforts on sales and brand awareness.
- Monthly KPI reporting on sales and marketing performance to steer market activity and investment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - confident with data manipulation in Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated and results oriented professional with strong commercial acumen.
- Previous experience or internships in marketing is desirable.
- Fluent German language speaker is essential.
