Our security focused client in Stoke on Trent is looking for a Devops Engineer to join their growing team. As a DevOps Engineer you will be focusing on automation, being responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated processes to enhance the overall efficiency, reliability and scalability of their cloud-based infrastructure.
Strong technical background, experience of working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform ideally with focus on automating infrastructure.
It s working on some very exciting high security projects within the defence sector. Part of the role is to lead the design, development and implementation of automation solutions for deployment, monitoring and management of cloud infrastructure.
Techstack: CI/CD, Jenkins, Powershell, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift.
Looking at driving continuous improvement of automation processes, implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, and developing and maintaining the infrastructure as code by using tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Puppet.

Due to the nature of the business ideally you will have a valid UK security clearance or be happy to obtain it if successful. Experience of working in a defence, government, defence security environment highly advantageous.
