About the role

Reporting to the VP, Sales & Marketing, the Marketing Manager will design, support and deliver marketing strategies across Dods corporate subscription services of Political Intelligence to drive revenue growth across the UK and EU.

You will be responsible for translating business objectives into marketing strategies and go-to-market plans to ensure that brand perception, customer acquisition, customer onboarding and success as well as retention goals are achieved. We are looking for someone to join our growing team who is innovative and challenges our way of thinking.

This role can be based at our London or Brussels office. Please specify which location you would prefer to work from in your application. To encourage collaborative working, you will be required to travel between both offices on a regular basis.

What we are looking for

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing – you’ve likely operated at a mid-senior level in your previous roles.
  • A proven track record in B2B marketing, such as corporate subscription services, SaaS, media or service information businesses (international experience a plus).
  • Proven track record of planning and executing results driven marketing campaigns.
  • Expertise in LinkedIn and email marketing, with excellent communication skills (a must-have).
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful data-driven marketing plans. You’ll have a real understanding of data management.
  • Proven track record in managing CRM systems and marketing automation workflows.
  • Ability to build excellent relations with internal stakeholders and external ones such as event partners. You will be confident reporting and presenting to senior management.
  • Experience working with or managing agencies and suppliers/freelancers.
  • A keen interest in politics as well as a good understanding of the political calendar, policy processes and political news landscape.
  • Excellent project management skills– we have an exciting agenda ahead of us and so you will need to have good organisational and prioritisation skills.

Key responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Be responsible for delivering a scalable inbound lead generation strategy to help drive growth of Dods and its service.
  • Project manage marketing plans and results-driven marketing campaigns across the service.
  • Oversee all aspects of end-to-end campaign management including email; website; digital marketing; analysis; data selections, targeting and build; copywriting; and social media.
  • Work with the Heads of EU and UK Services to create compelling content to support lead generation campaigns and audience growth.
  • Lead event, media, sponsorship and partnership strategy to foster brand awareness and educate our markets about Dods’ value proposition.
  • Build strong trusted internal stakeholder relationships with: a) Sales team – developing campaigns and contributing updates in sales pipeline meetings and supporting revenue-generating initiatives; b) Creative and Content teams – to develop compelling marketing assets, content campaigns and thought leadership to drive engagement and demand.
  • Lead the social media and SEO strategy to ensure consistency with overall marketing objectives, grow audiences and engagement.
  • Lead the creation of marketing collaterals, customer onboarding materials and website developments.
  • Forecast the monthly pipeline, measuring impact of marketing activities and present weekly results to key internal stakeholders.
  • Become fluent in the vocabulary of the markets that the company serves, gaining a deep understanding of market structure, trends and participants to effectively design go-to-market and marketing plans that resonate with the target audience.
  • Develop an understanding of the competitive landscape and engage with internal stakeholders to best position the value of the company's offering.
