Set within green belt, off the M25, A1M and M1, the District includes a cathedral, historic city centre and charming villages. St Albans Museums runs several sites including Verulamium Museum, the 15th century Clock Tower and the new St Albans Museum + Gallery, at the heart of the city centre.

Our museum service successfully secured funding from Arts Council England as part of the National Portfolio Organisation programme to deliver activity between April 2023 – March 2026.
In this post, you will be developing and delivering ambitious marketing campaigns that grow St Albans Museums’ profile to deliver against its targets. You will also lead marketing analysis and the planning and delivery of campaigns to support St Albans Museums’ delivery of events and exhibitions. You will be our brand ambassador, ensuring the integrity of St Albans Museums’ brand, and also liaise with PR agencies and press and contribute to the development of local and national campaigns.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have of previous experience of developing and implementing marketing plans and delivering marketing campaigns across different platforms and collateral (e.g. print, digital, online, social and e-marketing). Knowledge of market research and data capture techniques and data analytics is also required.
