What skills and experience we're looking for
Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C or above or equivalent(Must include English & Maths)
Specialist skills, training or experience in behaviour management and SEN
Well established de-escalation strategies
Recent experience of working with BESD children aged 7 – 16+ years
Ability to communicate and operate at a high level of understanding and competence
Able to support the school improvement plan
Well-developed emotional intelligence skills
Knowledge of safeguarding children-systems and procedures
Ability to identify potential barriers to learning and to devise strategies to enable pupils to overcome these barriers
To contribute to the provision of an effective environment for learning
